Brenda talked us through all the options for the ceremony, gave us lots of advice and examples of readings and vows. She was easy to talk to and wrote a very sweet and funny speech about how we met and our time together.
In the run up to the wedding Brenda helped us by reviewing our vows. She also took a call from me the night before when I was stressing out about certain parts of the ceremony and calmed me down perfectly!
On the day Brenda was brilliant with both myself and my husband and also our little boy who was desperate to be a part of the ceremony!

Anne, I just don’t know what to say about everything you have done for us, I’m speechless! Your poise, cool & calm is amazing! And looking back there were quite a few moments I imagine that may have thrown you but you were really fantastic!
Another favourite of mine is the way you read “our story” it was read with real passion, pausing and really bringing the story to light, I actually almost didn’t recognise it myself which was fab!
My final favourite part of the ceremony was walking over to the signing table, the ambience, the relaxed nature was really special, I felt so at peace, so thank you thank you thank you!

Brenda was celebrant for our wedding, it was our third attempt at the wedding after COVID delays. Nothing was too much for Brenda, she kept in contact with us the whole time and we never felt like a burden when things had to be rearranged.
Our first meeting with Brenda was at our house a few months before the wedding, she put us at ease straight away and we immediately knew she was the perfect person to conduct our ceremony.
We have two children and it was very important to us that they play an important part of the day, Brenda had many suggestions on how we do this which resulted in our daughter welcoming everyone before the service began and my son also read a poem, which had been suggested by Brenda, we then followed this with a Celtic blessing the 4 of us where we gifted our children with a piece of jewellery.
There wasn't a dry eye by the end of the ceremony, everyone that attended has commented how special it was and that they have never seen a ceremony conducted in that way with the children so involved.
We will forever be grateful to Brenda for giving us the perfect start to married life.

Anne - Whilst sitting at the pool on the first day of our honeymoon, I asked Jean-Marc what his favourite part of the wedding was and he instantly replied the ceremony! I was quite surprised at his answer as I thought it would have been the whisky drinking but I completely agreed with him. Anne is incredibly calming and has a natural warmth to her. She created such a relaxed and happy environment which encouraged laughter and tears of joy from the guests and us. We received lots of lovely comments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony was and that is all thanks to Anne.

Brenda - Of course we are biased but we feel that our ceremony, despite 20 people short, was the best we've been to! Brenda is a fantastic celebrant who we would highly recommend to anyone getting married in Jersey. In the lead up to the wedding she answered lots of questions and helped us structure the order of our service.
